Basically all you have to do is stop making stupid comments on things you don't have a clue on. Or even better, make these comments if you really have to, to the person who featured this image, and leave the photographer alone.
dA is flooded with kids who have no actual skill but keep starting fights about what is and what is not art and how their pink unicorns and emo angels are better than anything Sometimes it makes me think about leaving this site and finding one with a more mature community... But still - there are some AWESOME artists here on dA - which really inspire me. I'm just getting a bit tired by having to browse tons of garbage to find something interesting around here - and than when I do, I often find those kids screaming in the comments below those works like "What the hell is that? It's not *kawai* enough to be liked by anyone!" Makes me a bit sad...
That took actual time having to draw the lines, then scan them to the computer, then digital brush the paints on... a few hours at best... I could take 2 minutes to take a pic of my closet door, and then a pic of my book case, paste them together... and obviously its a DD.
It's his right to continue making a fool of himself Patrice. Nobody's going to deny it to him Just let him take the picture of his closet, add his magic and his first DD is guaranteed! The Universe has limits my friend, stupidity has none.
Broski, for one, a DD is merely a feature on a website. It's to make an artist known by featuring one of their artworks, and makes people look at the rest of his gallery. It's not a reward, and it's nothing really special.
For two, it wasn't two pictures, it's an AD on a billboard lol. It's street photography.
